At Paisa Tracker, privacy is not just a feature — it is our foundational principle. Paisa Tracker is engineered as a 100% offline personal finance & expense manager. We do not collect, transmit, upload, or analyze any of your financial data, account balances, transaction histories, or personal information.

2. Information Collection & Storage

Zero Remote Data Collection: We operate zero backend databases or telemetry servers for tracking users. Everything you type into Paisa Tracker (income, expenses, category labels, notes, dates) remains strictly on your mobile device.

• Local SQLite Database: All app records are stored locally in an encrypted database sandbox on your phone.
• No User Accounts: You do not need to register, log in, or link an email address to use the application.
• No Ad Trackers: The application contains zero advertising networks, third-party analytics SDKs, or social media trackers.

3. App Permissions

Paisa Tracker requests only minimal Android / iOS system permissions necessary for core utility:

• Storage / Media Files: Required solely when you explicitly initiate a local CSV export or backup/restore process to your phone storage.
• Biometric Lock (Optional): Uses your device's native fingerprint or face recognition hardware to secure local app access. Your biometric templates never leave your phone hardware.

4. Backups & Data Ownership

You retain 100% ownership and control over your financial records. If you perform a manual backup or export data to CSV/PDF, the resulting file is saved locally to your device or your personal cloud storage (such as Google Drive or iCloud). You are responsible for maintaining and safeguarding your exported backup files.

Should we ever update this Privacy Policy, the revised version will be published here with an updated effective date. Because Paisa Tracker is offline-first, our core commitment to keeping your data on your device will remain unchanged.
